You know those plain white roller blinds you can buy at Wal-Mart? They are useful but look so dull sometimes, right? What if I told you that you can make them look much better? If you don’t believe me just keep reading! For this project you will need a roller blind, a piece of fabric that is big enough to cover the length you need for your window, but thin enough so you can still roll the blind, and a hot glue gun! You can cover only one side of the blind or both, but both will look much better!
Mark the fabric you picked giving it about one extra inch than the size of the blind on each side. Unroll the blind and carefully place it in the right place over the fabric, gluing once side at a time and making sure you don’t change the position you planned for it.
Let the hot glue dry completely and then cut another piece of fabric, slightly smaller than the size of the blind and glue it over the fabric border you got from the first piece of fabric.
Make sure that both tops are well glued to the top of the blind and wait a couple of hours before trying to roll the blind, to make sure it won’t be wrinkled.
Now you have your new and very cute roller blinds in a fabric that matches the room decoration and without that dull look, you can start making your friends jealous now!
