All of us had at least once this problem and had to throw barely new clothes out just because of those awful yellow stains. With this recipe, that won’t ever happen again! If you have some of those white t-shirts with the armpits stained yellow just give it a try. You will need some Dawn dishwashing liquid, baking soda and Hydrogen Peroxide.
The proportions should be one part of Dawn to two parts of Hydrogen Peroxide, with a little extra baking soda. Mix them well together and rub it in the stained part with a small laundry brush for a few minutes.
When the mixture is well spread on the stains let it sit there for about an hour and then do the laundry as usual. It’s better to place only the stained shirts together in the washing machine to avoid accidents with other clothes, though.
When the clothes come out of your washing machine you’ll see the difference, no more yellow stains that won’t go away!
This recipe is good for white clothes but it was also tested in coloured clothing, having the same interesting effect in both. It didn’t leave any stains or colour fading. However, the recipe tested for coloured clothes was slightly different, having one tablespoon of Dawn and between three and four of Hydrogen Peroxide, plus two of baking soda.
It works and is now the wonder stain remover in many houses. If you have kids you know exactly what I’m talking about. Trust me, this is exactly what you need to get rid of all those awful stains!
